The Surface Tapas Plate S Indi Grey is part of the Surface collection, designed by star chef Sergio Herman in collaboration with Serax. This small tapas plate combines functionality with the raw beauty of the Zeeland landscape.
About the Surface collection
The Surface collection is inspired by Sergio Herman's homeland of Zeeland - a series of small islands in a constant struggle with the ocean, with a landscape etched by tides and storm surges. The materials, colours, and glazing techniques interpret the raw nature and unique topography of the region, from rugged coastlines to pale sand dunes, rich green meadows, and dark, calm lakes. "The raw textures and beautiful imperfections of the landscape show what is real and authentic. From the deep grey of the mystical North Sea to a weathered and ageing skin, every surface is a symbol of depth. Every surface tells a story," explains Sergio Herman.
What is this plate intended for?
This elongated tapas plate is ideal for serving tapas, appetizers, sushi, bread, cheese, or as a presentation plate for small dishes. The elongated shape is perfect for creative presentations. The Indi Grey colour refers to the deep grey of the mystical North Sea and adds a tough, natural look to your table.
Perfect to combine with other items from the Serax Surface collection for a complete dinnerware set that brings the essence of the Zeeland landscape to your table.
