Speed shaker mix glasses

A speed shaker is a metal tin that is placed over a cocktail glass to seal the glass. This allows the cocktail to actually be shaken in the glass in which the drink will later be served. The glass in which this happens is, for example, the speed shaker mix glass from Libbey.

The convenience of speed shaker mix glasses is, as the name suggests, the speed. You do not have to first mix the drink in a separate mixing glass, after which you transfer it to the cocktail glass to serve, saving you valuable time. Because we all know that bartenders or mixologists are busy. Cocktails are extremely popular and the lines to get one are often long. With good speed shaker mix glasses you can serve more customers in a shorter time.

Cocktail mix glass

A cocktail mixing glass is a large, robust glass in which cocktails are mixed. These mix glasses are available in different shapes and sizes. The contents are important, some glasses even have enough capacity to mix and pour two cocktails at the same time, which can save a lot of time. In our range you will find cocktail mix glasses with a capacity for one cocktail, which is often around 350ml. But also larger mixing glasses with a capacity of 600 to 750ml, these glasses are suitable for pouring two cocktails.

Considerations

Mix glasses are made from different materials, such as glass, stainless steel and sometimes copper. Mix glasses made of glass are traditional, but can be fragile and break easily. Stainless steel glasses are less susceptible to breaking, but are often more expensive. Copper mix glasses are unique and give a different taste. Glass or copper naturally looks more luxurious when you see the bartender or mixologist mixing, but functionality is also important.

Besides the material, another consideration is the purpose. Do you want to mix cocktails with many ingredients? Then a mixed glass with a larger capacity is a good option. The same goes for when you want to save time by mixing multiple cocktails at once. On the other hand, a smaller mixing glass may be more convenient for making single servings.
