Shot glasses

Shot glasses have been around since the 17th century, there are two theories about why a shot glass is called a shot glass. The most famous of these is that cowboys used to pay with bullets for their small glasses of whiskey. Another well-known theory is that the name shots came from the name Friedrich Otto Schott. Friedrich started a glass factory in America that produced shot glasses.

Shot glasses are made for drinking your drink in one gulp and because the glasses differ from 20 to 50 ml, this is not that difficult. The size of this little devil makes it clear what it is intended for. However, the small glasses are also used for occasions other than quick drinks.

Shot glasses

The shot glasses are glasses that are used for stronger drinks and usually come as a small glass on a small base. The foot gives a nice elegant look to the shot glasses and makes it somewhat easier to sip your drink. The shot glasses on foot are in most cases used for liqueurs, but also for drinks such as Limoncello and tequila.

Shooters

There are also glasses for shooters, shooters are special shots. You can actually think of shooters as a mini cocktail. They come in crazy colors and special flavors. The shots usually contain multiple layers and usually contain 20% alcohol. Shooters are served in most cases at nightlife clubs and cafes.
