The maximum width of 95 millimeters creates a certain instant decanting effect by allowing the wine to breathe freely as soon as it is poured. The upper part of the bowl, subtly conically curved inward, forms an extension of the nose. The chosen opening (exactly 66 millimeters) optimally concentrates the bouquet and aromas. The lower part of the bowl, curved outward in a V-shape, provides a kind of "push-up," meaning that even with a small amount of wine, a large amount of aroma is captured. The V-triangle at the very bottom of the bowl promotes maximum color density. The wine flows very broadly over the tongue as it is drunk. The stem of the glass (a barely perceptible X-shape) allows it to be held elegantly with all five fingers.
