The Surface Deep Plate XL Indi Grey is part of the Surface collection, designed by celebrity chef Sergio Herman in collaboration with Serax. This extra-large deep plate combines functionality with the raw beauty of the Zeeland landscape.
About the Surface collection
The Surface collection is inspired by Sergio Herman's homeland, Zeeland—a series of small islands in a constant battle with the ocean, with a landscape etched by tides and storm surges. The materials, colors, and glazing techniques interpret the raw nature and unique topography of the region, from rugged coastlines to pale sand dunes, rich green meadows, and dark, tranquil lakes. "The raw textures and beautiful imperfections of the landscape show what is real and true. From the deep grey of the mystical North Sea to a scarred and aging skin, every surface is a symbol of depth. Every surface tells a story," explains Sergio Herman.
What is this plate intended for?
This extra-large deep plate is ideal for serving pasta, risotto, soups, stews, curries, or other dishes with sauce. It is also perfect as a presentation plate for main courses. The raised rim holds liquids well. The Indi Grey color refers to the deep grey of the mystical North Sea and adds a rugged, natural look to your table.
Perfect to combine with other items from the Serax Surface collection for a complete dinnerware set that brings the essence of the Zeeland landscape to your table.
