The Surface collection is inspired by Sergio Herman's homeland of Zeeland - a series of small islands in a constant battle with the ocean, with a landscape etched by tides and storm surges. The materials, colours, and glazing techniques interpret the raw nature and unique topography of the region, from rugged coastlines to pale sand dunes, rich green meadows, and dark, tranquil lakes. "The raw textures and beautiful imperfections of the landscape show what is real and true.
