The ideal glass is different for every type of wine. Yet they all have one similarity. It is a glass on a high base. This ensures that the temperature of the wine is not affected by hands. Red wine glasses
The glasses with a wider bowl are usually intended for red wine. This ensures that enough oxygen can reach the wine and that there is enough space to swirl the wine.
