Earthenware tableware is heavier than porcelain, but gives a natural look. The advantages of earthenware tableware are that this material is easy to keep clean, it can be put in the dishwasher and microwave and is thicker than porcelain. The earthenware tableware is available in different colours, shapes and sizes.

    Porcelain tableware

    Porcelain is often used for catering tableware. Porcelain tableware is made by mixing different substances into clay and this is fired at a high temperature. Porcelain tableware is a finer type of clay than earthenware. Thanks to kaolin, porcelain tableware can also withstand a beating. Porcelain tableware is a lighter material than earthenware, perfect as chic catering tableware.

    Bone China tableware

    Bone China, also known as bone porcelain, is a more luxurious porcelain of very good quality. This type of porcelain is mixed with calcium phosphate, which creates a very strong porcelain. Bone China tableware has a certain yellowish, white color which gives the tableware a luxurious look. Bone China tableware is thinner in material.
