Sustainable and environmentally friendly

Our straws are more sustainable and environmentally friendly than classic straws. This is because they are made of high-quality metal or glass, making them reusable. Instead of throwing them away after use, like plastic straws, you can simply clean and reuse them. This makes a big difference in terms of sustainability. Plastic straws remain lying around in our ocean for about 200 years before they break down, which is very harmful to the environment and to animals that can suffocate on them.

The use of reusable straws therefore has many benefits for our environment, but also for the wallet and convenience. Below we list the advantages per material for you.

Metal

Reusable metal straws are unbreakable and therefore last a long time. This will make a big difference in costs in the long run.

In addition, our straws are made with... cleaning brush supplied, but you can also purchase them separately. This makes it very easy to clean the straws. But most reusable straws can also be put in the dishwasher, which saves a lot of time and effort.

The metal straws from APS are available in the colours: gunmetal, copper and rainbow. There are also options for different thicknesses and quantities. We also have RVC straws and a drink stirrer tube of the brand 47 Ronin.

Glass

Reusable glass straws are also a more environmentally friendly option than plastic straws. They are made of high quality glass, which means they are strong and durable.

An advantage of reusable glass straws is that they are not only more durable than plastic straws, but they are also more hygienic. Because glass is a natural material, it is less susceptible to the build-up of bacteria and other microbes, meaning reusable glass straws are less likely to become contaminated than plastic straws.

In addition, glass straws are also aesthetically more attractive than plastic straws. What looks more luxurious and fun than a glass straw in a delicious cocktail?

Paper straws

The paper straws from APS Glass and Bar Supply are available in many different colors and types. This makes them suitable for cozy cocktail evenings, in your restaurant, during theme parties and much more. It is of course nice when the paper straw matches the drink someone orders, matches the theme of the evening or simply fits well with the general theme of, for example, your restaurant. For theme parties, for example, we have paper bamboo straws in our range, which are made in such a way that they resemble real bamboo sticks, but are simply made of paper. Perfect for a Hawaiian themed party! Add umbrellas and a coconut here and there and your theme is complete. Or maybe you need the straws for a food truck or smoothie/milkshake bar at a festival. The paper straws can also be used to spruce up milkshakes or smoothies, for example.
