How do you use a cocktail shaker?
A cocktail shaker can easily be used by all your employees. But how do you shake the perfect cocktail? The first step is to place the ice in the shaker. Bartenders often use one glass with ice. In comparison this is about 1/4th of the shaker.
Step two is the most important, namely: adding the ingredients! The ingredients differ per cocktail, of course, so check carefully which ones are needed.
Then it's time to start shaking. Don't forget that the lid must be held steady, otherwise everything will fly in all directions. Shake the cocktail vigorously for about 10 seconds. This ensures that the ice cream and ingredients are mixed well.
Once this is completed, the cocktail can be poured! Please note that many shakers have a built-in strainer, so that the ice is not poured. And of course, remember: practice makes perfect!
