Inspiration for the ONIS The Gats collection
Firstly, The Gats pays tribute to the golden age of Art Deco, recognizable in the flowing, curved lines and polished surfaces of the glasses. This style period, known for its luxurious and geometric shapes, is reflected in every detail of this collection. In addition, “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald, an iconic work that captures the glamor of New York's vibrant 1920s, was an important source of inspiration. The elegant and stylish details in The Gats collection are a subtle reference to the mysterious and understated charm of Gatsby, the hero of the novel.
Finally, there is a personal touch from Verbeeck himself. Namely the memory of a vase filled with fresh flowers in his grandmother's house, which emphasizes the love for detail and homeliness in the design.
The collection
The collection consists of three different shapes: Rocks, Hi-Ball and Double Old Fashioned (DOF), with the DOF having a commercial size of 355 ml.
